"Release and ignition" at the first station of the Black River of the China Russia East Gas Pipeline

The task of ensuring supply along the China Russia East Line is significant, which is related to the needs of people's livelihoods along the line, and shoulders the important mission of ensuring the security of the national energy strategic channel. The first station of Heihe is located on the southeast side of Airport Road in Aihui District, Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province. It is the first station on the China Russia East Gas Pipeline after entering the country, mainly responsible for receiving gas from Russia.

According to the agreement between China and Russia, the routine gas shutdown maintenance operation for this spring will be carried out from March 24 to April 1, 2024, and the equipment will be maintained and serviced. The "vent ignition" process operation will be carried out on March 24, 2024.

The venting ignition operation starts at 9:00 am on March 24th and lasts for about 4 hours. The venting torch is used for ignition, with the ignition point at a height of 25 meters from the ground and the flame height at 15-25 meters. During the venting and ignition operation, the staff conducts real-time detection of wind direction, wind speed, and combustible gas concentration around the venting and ignition area, controls the venting amount in the process, and ensures the safety of the venting and ignition operation.
